The things you keep
meaning to get to.

No new place to chat. Tag @rh or @righthand, then carry on with your day.

Remember it for me.

Notes, reminders and phone alerts. Remind yourself—or ask for a reminder in the current contact or group chat.

“@rh remind us here at 6”

Make sense of this.

Translate, explain and summarize selected voice notes, photos and files. Reply to keep the conversation going.

“@rh listen to my voice note and act”

Look it up.

Search current information and places. Continue with details and preferences without starting from scratch.

“@rh find flights for those dates”

Get to the important bit.

Connect email if you want it. Request a private brief, find an attachment, or explicitly ask to send an email.

“@rh brief my latest business email”

A few taps. Then just @rh.

Android beta

Meet your
extra pair of hands.

Start with a reminder. A voice note. That file you’ve been meaning to read.

Public download is paused while release licensing is reviewed.
Current testers can continue using their installed app.
Before you install

This is an experimental Android beta using an unofficial WhatsApp connector. WhatsApp may reject or interrupt a connection. Read the terms and keep your account’s security protections on. Your OpenAI API usage is billed separately by OpenAI. Email access may be limited during provider testing.

Use the release download for a new install. An existing developer test copy may have a different signature; update through its original test channel to keep its data.

Installation and setup guide
A few good questions

Before you
give it a hand.

Will it read all my chats?

Only your new @rh / @righthand requests and replies to RightHand activate the assistant. Chat history is fetched only for a window you request. A temporary reference to your most recent own media allows a following tag to select it; the media is not downloaded until selected.

Where do my messages go?

The content needed for your request is sent to OpenAI using your key. Personal records and connection credentials stay on the phone. Provider retention depends on your OpenAI account settings; this is not a claim of zero provider retention.

Do I need an OpenAI key?

Yes, in the current beta. Create a key in your OpenAI developer account and add it once in RightHand. API billing is separate from a ChatGPT subscription. Never send your key in a WhatsApp chat.

Can it book a flight or make a payment?

It can help search and compare information. It cannot complete a booking, purchase or payment. Fares and availability must be confirmed with the provider.

Does it work on iPhone?

The direct WhatsApp assistant is currently an Android beta for 64-bit ARM devices running Android 8 or later. An equivalent iPhone version has not been released.
